The Morning Benders are a Berkeley, California 3-piece. Rough Trade will release their second full-length Big Echo this coming Tuesday. In the past, the band has opened for the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, Ra Ra Riot, and Grizzly Bear.  Lately, I’ve heard a lot of talk about finding the “west coast Grizzly Bear.”  We may have a winner.  In fact, Big Echo was produced by Grizzly Bear bassist Chris Taylor, so it’s even got their fingerprints on it.
