We haven’t heard new material from Broken Social Scene for 5 years–they’re set to release a full-length, “Forgiveness Rock Record”, on May 3rd. Though it’s still a decent listen, I hope I’m not underwhelmed by the rest of the LP so much as I was by this joint. If you’ve got the opportunity to see these guys after the album drops, I suggest you put forth the fullest effort to do so–they put on the best live performance I’ve seen to date. Enjoy.
