Standing Completely Still

Listen / Download

A snapshot of a blinding zeitgeist.  Some fantastic music is finding its way into our ears, presently; supplementing run-of-the-mill mp3 is a wash of physical media nearly forgotten–tape, 45, 12″, or CDR.  The line between listener and maker is thinning out, while the mystery of how one gets heard is all but solved.  There is a heap of half-songs by half-musicians that shouldn’t currently be on our radars, but these songs are not them.  Please enjoy:  A sketch of what thirty-five minutes may be like on a sweltering coast, somewhere we may never see with open eyes.
